We have developed a good working relationship with this supplier and they are fully aware of the level we require to offer our customers. We only guarentee are products that have been factory finished in Teknos.

 

Preservative treatment (Redwood only):

Prior to the priming of softwood windows, the components are dipped in Sovaq Dipcoat which is a water-based wood preservative based on new microemulsion technology. Sovaq Dipcoat contains two powerful fungicides that prevent the occurrence of sap staining fungi and protect the timber from dry and wet rot until final installation. The micro emulsion formulation ensures deep penetration. 

 

Factory finishing:

Water based primers and top coats applied in a controlled environment to the customers requirement.

  • Standard and bespoke colours to match any existing decoration. 
  • Translucent lacquers to enhance any timber.

BS7950:1997 - Specification for enhanced security performance of windows for domestic applications

BS6375:2004 – Performance of Windows & Doors:

Air Permeability – Class 4 (600Pa). Tested in accordance with BS EN 1026:2000. Classified to BS EN 12207:2000

Watertightness – Class 9A (600). Tested in accordance with BS EN 1027:2000. Classified to BS EN 12208:2000

Resistance to Wind – Class A5 (P1: 2000, P2: 1000, P3: 3000) Tested in accordance with BS EN 12211:2000. Classified to BS EN 12210:2000
